LP-UP seal with Bestflow functionality

Typically, dual mechanical seal have a flow of buffer fluid 2-4L/min (pure water). This water is poured mostly straigh down the drain without thinking any more about this cost.

Bestflow is a flexible solition for reducing seal water consumption. A seal equiped with a Bestflow thermostatic valvei consumes seal water only when the temperature exceeds the limits chosen for the application (62°C or 80°C).

  • No need for manual adjustments of the flow, the Bestflow thermoelement works automatically
  • Bestflow works as an insurance for the seal. In case of abnormal running conditions the seal would over-heat but Bestflow opens the valve for cooling before the seal faces and elastomers are damaged
